Lighthouse Mission Ministries

Since 1923 Lighthouse Mission Ministries has been serving the homeless and hopeless in Bellingham and Whatcom County.
             Throughout the past 90 years we have been serving hot meals, providing temporary and transitional housing, and meeting other physical and spiritual needs.
             To celebrate this legacy we hope to partner with community members like you to raise awareness and support.

Lighthouse Mission Ministries is looking for works in the mediums of watercolor, oil, acrylic, pastels, and mixed media collage for an Art Show and Reception, January 31, 2013, at the Whatcom Museum.

This will be the kick-off event of the Mission's "90 Days for 90 Years Celebration." There will be the unveiling of a mural made for the Mission's Chapel, which was designed by Ben Mann and painted by some of the Mission's guests.

It is preferable, but not essential, that art submitted or donated should reflect the theme of a lighthouse or the theme of Lighthouse Mission... providing meals, shelter, and hope.

If the art work is donated, it will be auctioned at a later date with the proceeds to help support Lighthouse Mission's programs.

Please submit your digital copy to susansutton@thelighthousemission.org by Monday, January 14, 2013, for review and possible publication. If chosen, you will be notified no later than January 18, 2013.
