The Lighthouse Mission’s 100th-annual Thanksgiving dinner will be served by dozens of volunteers at noon Thursday, Nov. 23 at the Church of the Assumption’s gymnasium, 2116 Cornwall Ave. The church donates use of the gymnasium for this dinner and anyone who is hungry is welcome.
It takes a special calling and a heart for people and Jesus to do this work! Supporting the Whatcom County and Bellingham area’s homeless, and continuing to bring the light and hope of Christ to those who are most in need is difficult work! Lighthouse Mission is remodeling its four-building campus in Bellingham’s Old Town, which includes demolition of its building at 910 W. Holly St. and building a new facility there.

Are you interested in learning more about what it’s like to interact with hopelessness and despair on a daily basis? Lighthouse Mission works to partner with donors in order to intervene on behalf of panhandlers, drug addicts, alcoholics, and homeless people in order to provide them with hope.
