After completing treatment, Athena had lost all faith and didn’t know if she could go on. She needed a safe place to regain custody of her kids. Moving into Agape Home “was a tremendous relief. I needed all the support I could get,” Athena shared. And “as of today, I have 27 months clean and sober.”

Whatcom Unified Command (WUC) invited Lighthouse Mission Ministries to help staff their COVID-19 Isolation and Quarantine Housing on Byron Avenue in Bellingham: Lighthouse Mission Ministries wholeheartedly agreed.
This facility is for anyone in the community who doesn’t have a safe place to self-isolate or cannot be in quarantine at their home.
The Drop-In Center (DIC) moved because the 1013 W Holly St location did not meet the social distancing recommendations put forth by the CDC, Whatcom County Health Department, and the State of Washington due to the Covid-19 public health crisis.
