Journey of Generosity
With Generous Giving & Lighthouse Mission
September 8-10, 2023
Malibu Club, Sunshine Coast British Columbia
What is a Journey of Generosity?
1. A retreat with your peers to discuss God and money
Gather with like-minded people for the purpose of maximizing your impact and growing closer to God. These conversations are held in safe spaces to talk about money, wealth, and legacy.
2. A conversation, not a prescription
We believe in conversation, not lectures. There is no “one size fits all” answer. We are simply here to share stories, ask questions, and create intentional time to listen to the Holy Spirit and discover God’s desire for our lives related to generosity.
3. A pressure-free environment
We are independently funded. We will not ask you for money. Our mission comes down to one thing: to see people liberated to live and give in God’s image in order to see God’s kingdom come on earth.
We will meet on Friday, September 8th at 11:30AM to take a Water Taxi from Egmont, BC (on the Sunshine Coast) to one of the most beautiful places on earth, Malibu Club.
Once we arrive, you (and your significant other) will spend the weekend enjoying 5-star accommodations, with stellar views, outstanding food, fun activities, laughter, and space to learn, grow, and listen. We sincerely hope you will join us!
Depart: Malibu Landing in Egmont, BC at 12:00 pm on 9/8/23
Please note: Egmont, is 131 miles from Bellingham, and requires a 40 minute ferry from Vancouver’s Horseshoe Bay to Langdale on the Sunshine Coast.
Return: To Malibu Landing at 12:30 pm on 9/10/23
Cost: There is a $200 refundable deposit (per couple) required to secure your spot for the weekend. The deposit will be refunded on the Monday following our return (9/11). Two nights of accommodations and meals are included in your registration.
Additional expenses: You will need to make reservations for a round trip ferry on BC Ferries from Vancouver (Horseshoe Bay) to the Sunshine Coast (Langdale) before the retreat.
