What is LMM doing to address homelessness?

Is poverty simply financial or material?
No. We found poverty can also be social/relational, emotional, spiritual, educational, and physical (health).
What should our response be to people experiencing homelessness?
While keeping safety in mind, smile and acknowledge people you encounter, perhaps start a conversation with them if it feels right. Don’t give money, but do encourage people to come to the Lighthouse Mission for help with food, shelter, and other immediate needs.
