Nonprofit brings veterinary care to pets at Bellingham homeless shelter
For people experiencing homelessness, it can be a challenge to find food and shelter for themselves, let alone their pets.
Thanks to a new partnership with Pets for the Homeless, pets of Mission guests can receive the veterinary care they need. Click the photo above or click here to watch the video.
Dogs, cats and other pets often stay at the Mission with their owners. Veterinary care is expensive and not always attainable for people who are homeless. These furry friends are important companions, and need to be cared for to stay healthy.
